The pen

Clearance and what is in the box

Apex Pro is an FDA-cleared Class II microneedling device. The clearance page explains which documents we send in writing, and why this site does not publish a treatment list.

Is Apex Pro FDA-cleared?

Yes. Apex Pro is an FDA-cleared Class II microneedling device. Ask your specialist for the clearance documentation and the full Indications For Use during your demo, and we will provide it in writing.

What does the system include?

The Apex Pro Microneedling Pen with battery and optional AC power, your starting cartridge supply, onboarding and training for your team, and access to responsive U.S. support. Your specialist will confirm the exact contents of the current package.

Price and cartridges

What you pay once, and what you pay every treatment

The pen price and the cartridge tiers are different lines. Both are confirmed in a written quote. There is no online checkout.

What do Apex Pro cartridges cost?

Cartridge pricing is by box size: $36 per cartridge in a box of 15, $34 in a box of 30 and $32 in a box of 60. That averages about $34 per treatment, and the price is held in place by a written consumable price guarantee.

How much do consumables cost?

Apex Pro cartridges are priced well below typical premium-pen consumables, and the price is backed by a consumable price guarantee so it does not drift upward after you commit. Because consumable cost compounds across every treatment you perform, it is usually the single largest driver of microneedling profitability.

Which cartridges are available?

Apex Pro uses single-use sterile cartridges in 12-pin and 36-pin configurations. The 12-pin suits delicate areas such as around the eyes, nose and lip; the 36-pin covers broader areas more quickly.

How does switching to Apex Pro make the labor free?

A practice paying about $85 per cartridge saves about $51 on every treatment with Apex Pro. That is roughly what the provider’s time costs on a typical microneedling appointment, so the cartridge savings pay for the labor and more of what the patient pays stays with the practice. Check it against your own cartridge invoice and payroll.

Trade-in and the Challenge

Switching the pen you already own

A trade-in applies to a competing professional pen you own outright. The Challenge is the money-back trial on the purchase.

Can I trade in the pen I already own?

In most cases, yes. The Apex Pro Trade-In Program lets eligible practices trade in a current professional microneedling pen and upgrade to a brand-new Apex Pro. Your specialist will review your current device and confirm the options available to you.

Can we try Apex Pro before committing?

Yes. The Apex Pro Challenge is a money-back trial. Your purchase includes the pen and 10 cartridges, and the trial runs until you have used all 10 cartridges or 30 days have passed, whichever comes first. If you are not happy with the results, return the pen and any unused cartridges within the trial and you get your money back. The refund is issued upon successful return.

In the treatment room

Menu fit and the topical

Microneedling is a treatment patients already ask about. The med spa guide walks through the buying decision. ApexPDRN+ is a topical, used only as labeled.

How does Apex Pro fit into my treatment menu?

Microneedling is a treatment your patients already recognize and request, so it rarely needs new demand generation. Apex Pro slots into an existing menu without a complicated workflow, and is typically delivered as a series, which supports packages and repeat visits.

How does ApexPDRN+ fit into a post-treatment protocol?

ApexPDRN+ is a professional post-treatment topical applied after an Apex Pro treatment to support hydration and the skin’s natural recovery experience. It is used as labeled and applied topically. It gives your providers a clear, current protocol story to explain to patients.
